COVID-19 Updates

Thank you for your support of Legacy on College Hill. Because the COVID-19 situation is continually changing, we desire to communicate with our families regularly as our circumstances evolve. This website will serve as a place for our team to share updates on case numbers, updated policies and procedures, and more.

Please know that we are committed to keeping all of our residents, families and team members safe and maintaining a high standard of care. Last month, we passed our Infection Control survey with no deficiencies. As more is learned about how to best defend against the virus, we will update our policies and procedures accordingly.

We remain committed to the CDC-recommended preventative actions we already have in place at our facility. Please see below for a list of additional defensive measures currently in place:

  • All workers in the facility are wearing surgical masks.
  • More frequent hand washing and replacement of gloves protocols have been put into place.
  • Staff and residents are being regularly monitored for signs and symptoms of the virus.
  • Family members can bring items to loved ones but must wear a mask and maintain a six-foot distance from any team members or others on-site.
  • Family members will not be able to come within six feet of loved ones. No one can touch, but families may visit through the glass (window must remain closed), on the phone, or Facetime. We can help families electronically visit with loved ones if assistance is required.

We appreciate your cooperation as we adhere to these guidelines to keep everyone safe and prevent further exposure to COVID-19. If you have questions, please contact Myosha Knox, Administrator, at 316-685-9291.
